Membership

Becoming a member of the Sri Aurobindo Society is a personal committment.

Members are eligible to receive regular literature and information from us and communication regarding our work. Those who opt for it would receive our monthly journal All India Magazine at their registered address.

Membership to the Society is only a first step. To start with, the simple program has been suggested for the members.

  • Devote some time daily to study something from the writings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, according to the query within.
  • Sit quietly for a few minutes every day and ask oneself: Why am I here? What exactly do I want to achieve in life? etc.
  • Devote one hour daily for some work of the Society and do it in a selfless and unegoistic spirit.

You can apply for SAS Membership online or via mail. Please note that we will need 15 days to process your request. If you have not received the membership card within 20 days’ time or if you have any queries related to membership, email us at membership@aurosociety.org.
