SAFIC Announcements – Three New E-Ventures

Website on the Vedas

On the auspicious occasion of the 141st birthday of the Mother, Aurobharati inaugurated its new digital platform dedicated to the study of Indian scriptures. The website – http://theveda.org.in/ – is a digital space dedicated to the study of the Veda, Rig Veda in particular, in the light of Sri Aurobindo.

A sincere student and seeker will find here not only the most important details for each of the 1,028 sūktas and 10,580 mantras of the Rig Veda but also several helpful resources to go deeper into the study of Vedic symbolism. Two of the key works of Sri Aurobindo on the Veda - The Secret of the Veda and Hymns to the Mystic Fire are also presented here (some sections of the latter are still being worked upon).

Developed in partnership with Vande Mataram Library Trust, this study resource on the Vedas is also available as a free downloadable app on Android and iOS.

With endless gratitude, we offer this work at the feet of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

Website on Prenatal Education and Conscious Parenting

In addition, SAFIC launched another new website – https://mothersglow.in/ – dedicated to spreading awareness on various aspects related to prenatal education and conscious parenting in the light of the integral vision of Sri Aurobindo and the other. • Happy Delivery
  • Postnatal Care and Conscious Parenting

Renaissance’ – E-Journal on Revival of Indian Culture

On the 141st birthday of the Mother, SAFIC humbly unveiled its new venture – ‘Renaissance’, a monthly e-journal https://journal.safic.in/ – that aims to highlight numerous forms in which the eternal spirit of India is being reborn and renewed. Renaissance will feature inspiring articles, videos, essays, stories, reflections and accounts of India and her creative genius manifesting in various domains – spiritual, artistic, literary, philosophic, scientific, aesthetic.

Speaking of the significance of the turning of national mind to rediscover and recover the true sense and significance of Indian culture as a first and essential step to a new rebirth of India, Sri Aurobindo wrote about hundred years ago:

“The national mind turned a new eye on its past culture, reawoke to its sense and import, but also at the same time saw it in relation to modern knowledge and ideas. Out of this awakening vision and impulse the Indian renaissance is arising, and that must determine its future tendency.”
 – Sri Aurobindo, CWSA, Vol. 20, p. 15

Taking our inspiration from these words Renaissance aspires to bring for readers thought-provoking ideas, insightful voices, rich perspectives on diverse topics and issues concerning India – her past, present but most importantly her future. With endless gratitude, we offer this work, an expression of our love and reverence for Mother India, at the feet of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
