ZIIEI & Innovative Pathshaala Exhibitions to Promote Joyful & Experiential Learning.

Thousands of teachers participated in this grand event. Samagra Shiksha - Tamilnadu, Sri Aurobindo Society & HDFC Bank organised the exhibition.

To recognise and promote innovation-based ecosystem and foster joyful-experiential learning environment in schools, Zero Investment Innovations for Education Initiatives (ZIIEI) of Sri Aurobindo Society and HDFC Bank organised a district-level exhibition at South Boys Higher Secondary School, Mohanur Road, Namakkal.

Shri.A. Kumar graced the event as the Chief Guest and other dignitaries also attended the occasion. The dignitaries felicitated all the exhibitors with certificates. Teachers in large numbers demonstrated their innovations as exhibitors and many other teachers, community members and aspiring teachers participated as visitors. Officers from Administration and Education Department, local leaders and media also stepped in.

ZIIEI and Innovative Pathshaala Exhibitions serve as an effective medium to bring innovative teachers together at the district level of the state. Addressing the teachers, members from the education fraternity, community and media persons, the Chief Guest said, “ZIIEI is contributing significantly in bringing a positive transformation in education. These exhibitions provide important opportunities for all to us to encourage good work and promote experiential education.

I congratulate all the teachers for putting up such inspiring innovative ideas.”

The exhibitors said that through exhibitions their hard work gets acknowledged and recognized. One participant said, “It is a unique opportunity for all of us. Moreover, when new or aspiring teachers watch our innovations they too get motivated towards zero-investment innovative ideas.” 

ZIIEI and Innovative Pathshaala are part of Rupantar, and their aim is to create joyful and experiential learning classrooms. Rupantar is a multi-dimensional program of Sri Aurobindo Society, launched in 2015, to transform education across the country. The exhibitions conducted under ZIIEI and Innovative Pathshaala focus on promoting and recognizing experiential and innovative ideas. With exhibitions held in around 50 districts of various states, more than 40,000 teachers have found a constructive platform to showcase and demonstrate their zero-investment innovations at the local level."
